Meet our TEAM
Dr. Novak began her dental career working with her family dentist during high school and college. She attended Luther college, receiving her B.A. in nursing. While working as an R.N. in pediatric oncology at the U of M Hospitals, she returned to dental school. She graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1985 and has maintained a general family practice in the western suburbs for over 30 years.
Dr. Novak is a member of the ADA, MDA and voted "Top Dentist" multiple times in the Mpls-St. Paul Magazine. She volunteered in Give Kids a Smile program.
Dr. Novak resides in Minnetonka with her husband, Kenny. She has three grown children. Time outside of dentistry is spent with family and friends and revolves around sports and cabin life.

Dr. Cahill grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Cahill completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN.
There, she gained advanced clinical training in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and temporal mandibular disorders/craniofacial pain through the management of medically complex patients.
Dr. Cahill loves the art of dentistry and is genuinely passionate about providing high quality oral health care in a comprehensive, patient-centered environment. She deeply cares about building trusting relationships with her patients and is committed to maintaining a life-long dental education in the most updated technologies and standards of care. Dr. Cahill is an active member and participant of the ADA, MDA, Academy of General Dentistry, and Spear Institute.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Cahill enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Aside from being an avid Michigan sports fan (Go Blue!), she loves to downhill ski, hike, and spend time outdoors. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and listening to live music.

My name is Allison, I am a dental hygienist and joined the practice in September of 2022. I completed my degree at Normandale Community College and have been practicing hygiene since 2021! My favorite part of dentistry is connecting with patients and improving their oral health. Outside of work I enjoy being outside, playing pickleball and staying active!

I’ve been in Dentistry for 35 years, 29 years here at Novak Family Dentistry. I love being a part of the wonderful experience that we share with our patients to achieve their perfect smile. It’s so great to be a part of this talented team.
Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my two children, three grandchildren, family and friends. Golfing, bowling, running, tennis and fishing are a few of my favorite activities.

Amy received her Dental Hygiene degree from the University of Minnesota. She has been at this practice for over 30 years. She became a dental hygienist because of her love for caring for and educating people. Her professional goal is to help others achieve optimal oral health which contributes to their overall health. Amy believes her work in this profession is a lifelong learning opportunity. She loves continuing education courses and reading a variety of dental and health journals. Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters and three dogs. Activities she enjoys are cooking, hiking and fostering rescue dogs.

I’ve been an LDA since 1998 and have been working at Novak Family Dentistry for 20 years! Taking care of patients and helping them achieve their best smile is a passion of mine. I want all my patients to feel welcome and as comfortable as possible while they are here. I live with my husband and our three sons in Elk River.

I have been an assistant for over 35 years. I have always enjoyed going to the dentist when I was younger. I thought it would be a fun place to work. I enjoy meeting people and taking care of others. I like to see people smile.
I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. I like doing crafts and riding my motorcycle.
Jasmine, Front Office Coordinator
Since 2020, I have been working as a front office coordinator. I recently began working at Novak Family Dentistry and I feel incredibly fortunate to have the chance to work together with such a talented team. I’m currently working toward becoming a dental hygienist. I enjoy getting to know our patients and guiding them through their dental treatments so they can achieve the best possible oral health. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
