Karen – Registered Dental Hygienist

I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota Dental Hygiene program and have been practicing for over 35 years. I joined Novak Family Dentistry in 2011 and am honored to be apart of a team where we work cooperatively with our patients to provide the best dental health possible. A highlight for me, and what I enjoy most about dental hygiene, is the relationships I have developed with both patients and staff. I am married and have 2 adult children and a son-in-law. In my free time, I enjoy running, reading and church involvement.

Amy – Licensed Dental Assistant

I have been a Licensed Dental Assistant for 15 years and have enjoyed working at Novak Family Dentistry for 17 years. The best part of my job is working with patients and helping to make them feel comfortable. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I reside in Elk River with our 3 boys who keep us very busy!

Amy – Registered Dental Hygienist

Amy received her Dental Hygiene degree from University of Minnesota. She has been part of this practice for 30 years. She is a hygienist because of her love for caring for her patients. Her professional goal is to help others achieve optimal oral health which contributes to an individuals overall health. Amy believes her work in this profession is a lifelong learning opportunity. She works at staying current in her field by regularly attending study clubs, taking continuing education courses and reading a variety of health journals. Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters and dogs, cooking and cross country skiing.

Jennifer – Registered Dental Assistant

I have been a Registered Dental Assistant for 32 years and have worked at Novak Dentistry for 23 years. My favorite part of working in dentistry is interacting with the patients and their families, helping to make them comfortable and sharing their excitement about their treatment to achieve a perfect smile. When I am not working, I enjoy golf, running, boating, and spending time with my two children, family and friends.

Mary – Front Desk

I have always loved working in the dental field especially as front desk at Novak Dentistry for 21 years! I really enjoy getting to know our patients and their family’s. I have taken pride in the close relationships that I have enjoyed with many of the patients. I also have a passion of selling real estate. I have 2 adult children that live in town and we spend quite a bit of time doing fun things together. The last member of our family is our dog, Zoey. She is a Chihuahua and she acts and thinks she is definitely the “Princess” in our home.

Linnea – Front Desk

I began my career in dentistry after completing a dental assisting program in 1972. I assisted for 23 years during which time I served as Corresponding Secretary for “International Health Service” and assisted with volunteer dentistry in the remote areas of Honduras for many years. The rest of my career has been on the administrative side of dentistry.

I joined Novak Family Dentistry in 2014 and it has been my pleasure serving the family’s of our practice. I strive to make sure that our patients feel genuinely cared for in as warm and comfortable environment as possible. Over the years of my career I have experienced and seen the many exciting options and advancements in dentistry! I can truly appreciate the advancements that have been made!

I am married and between my husband and I we have 5 children and 10 grandchildren that bring us an enormous amount of joy. Added to that mix we have 2 Golden Retrievers, a Yorkie and a cat named “Cowboy.” Guess who rules the roost?!

During my free time I enjoy my family time, friends, travel, gardening, good food, an ice cold beer and our touring that we do on our Harley! I am a registered clown and at times my “Stumbles” character will come to life!
