Meet Our Dentists

Dr. Shauna Novak

Dr. Novak began her dental career early working with her family dentist during high school and college. She attended Luther College, receiving her B.A. in nursing. While working as an R.N. in pediatric oncology at the U. of Minnesota Hospitals, she returned to dental school. She graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1985 and has maintained a general family practice in the western suburbs for 26 years.

Dr. Novak is a member of the ADA, MDA and voted “Top Dentist” multiple times in Mpls.-St. Paul Magazine. She volunteers in Give Kids a Smile Program.

Dr. Novak resides in Minnetonka with her husband Kenny and their three teenage children. Time outside of dentistry is spent with family and friends and revolves around sports and cabin life.

Dr. Debra McGill

Dr. McGill graduated from The University Minnesota Dental School in 1990. She completed The Advanced General Dentistry Residency in 1991 then joined a group practice in St. Paul for 11 years. In 2002, she joined Dr. Novak and has enjoyed being closer to her home in Plymouth, and being part of a progressive and comprehensive Family Practice.

Dr. McGill belongs to the ADA, MDA, area study clubs and has been named “Top Dentist” in the Mpls- St. Paul Magazine. She enjoys spending time with her husband Jim and 2 adult children. She loves traveling, gardening, cooking and cabin time.
